At Step by Step, we develop individualised programmes for children who are 18+ months and school-aged children with Autism and other developmental disabilities. Through assessment and observation, we develop an individualised programme that is specific to your child’s current needs.
Decades of empirical research indicate that early behavioural intervention is the most effective intervention, therefore our plans are implemented using strategies that are based on the principles of behaviour.The content of these plans vary across all children and ages, however the plans are focused towards creating independence, developing functional skills and creating an environment in which your child can learn from.
Our Early Intervention Programme is designed for our youngest learners and we also have programmes for School Aged children. For school aged children, we develop programmes to assist with social and academic development.
